Tastefully Modified: Evoluton 9
After seeing countless media coverage of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX, I can confidently say that it is one of the most versatile vehicles I have ever seen. This specific line of the Lancer has been used in many races from the track to the rally scene. It also makes for a fun enthusiast car, for those who want a taste of the action.
This Lancer we’re looking at today exudes an aura of simplicity, yet I feel it was executed so well. The first thing that stands out on this build is the wing delete, for the loss in agility, the car has a more relaxed and clean look.
Lancers are pretty well equipped with the variety of after-market support they’re offered. From what I can see, this specific Evo has an extreme turbo systems intercooler, and it uses that intercooler kit to support a turbocharger from the same maker. The gold spray on the strut tower bar and engine cover adds a contrast to the overall build that was necessary.
Going back to the aesthetic of this car, I have to say I’ve never seen such reflective paint, ever. Going back to the first couple of photos, the reflectance adds a nice orange look that makes it look insane. Everything about this car is done exceptionally well and being a lover of Lancers it was an awe-inspiring car to look at.
